Scholars and media have access to virtual exhibits, the Studer Library Collection, and items donated by individuals and organizations such as the Massillon Tiger Swing Band.
The Paul Brown Research Library in Memory of Bob Shiring, adjacent to the Paul Brown Museum on MassMu’s second floor, is an archival space dedicated to Massillon's football heritage. The Museum partnered with the Massillon Tiger Football Booster Club in 2014 to preserve the extensive collection of archives and objects documenting Massillon football from its inception in 1891.
Bookshelves hold the Junie and Dolores Studer Binder Collection that encompasses the entire history of Tiger football, including every player who has had field time and every coach to come through the program; flat file cabinets protect team photos and other oversized archives; and file cabinets house a nearly complete set of game programs from 1910s to the present.
Logan Carr joined the Massillon Museum staff in January of 2025 as curator of football heritage. He received a BA in anthropology from Ohio University, paired with an MA in museum studies from The University of Oklahoma. He interned in the collections department at the Pro Football Hall of Fame. As curator of football heritage at The Paul Brown Museum, he researches and develops exhibitions for the Paul Brown gallery, while maintaining the Paul Brown Research Library in Memory of Bob Shiring, which houses both the Paul Brown and Massillon Tigers archives.
