Maryland Democratic Party Chair Ken Ulman released the following statement regarding a disturbing video that’s being circulated online that appears to show counter-protesters displaying Nazi salutes at a recent MDP rally in Harford County.

“Hate has no place in our communities. The Maryland Democratic Party strongly condemns all forms of bigotry, including the Nazi salute displayed by counter-protesters at an MDP rally in Harford this past weekend,” said Maryland Democratic Party Chair Ken Ulman. “It is our collective responsibility to stand up to hate and make it clear that racism will not be tolerated. We encourage all Marylanders of good faith across the political spectrum to join us in denouncing such blatant acts of racism aimed at our friends and neighbors. Hate does not reflect our shared Maryland values.”
