No one should have to wonder where their next meal will come from. Yet today, nearly 13 million seniors live with food insecurity, uncertain if they’ll have enough to eat. 

For older adults who are homebound, the challenge is even greater. Many face mobility issues that make cooking, shopping or just leaving home impossible. Others simply don’t have the resources to buy nutritious food. And behind closed doors, too many are left hungry, malnourished and alone. 

The consequences are devastating. Hunger and malnutrition don’t just leave stomachs empty - they increase the risk of hospitalization, chronic illness and isolation.
