Mediterranean Nutrition Class Open for Registration

BREVARD COUNTY, FL – Are you interested in eating healthier? Then consider joining us for our Cooking the Mediterranean Way nutrition class! This class follows the Med Instead of Meds program, which teaches participants how to eat like those who live in the Mediterranean region. This style of eating has been shown to promote health and decrease the risk of many chronic diseases, including diabetes and heart disease.

This six-week hands on class series is perfect for anyone looking to improve their eating habits and learn more about healthy eating. Topics covered will include food demonstrations, tastings, tips, menu planning, and more! Participants will also have the opportunity to prepare two recipes each night.

This class costs $65 and will be held at the UF/IFAS Extension Office in Cocoa (3695 Lake Drive, Cocoa, FL 32926) every Thursday on June 22 through July 27 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM. Advance registration is required.
