MVCC Annual State Senate Forum

at Haverhill Country Club

The MV Chamber held its Annual State Senate Breakfast forum with State Senators Barry Finegold, Pavel Payano and Bruce Tarr who discussed to an overflow audience the issues they were addressing both individually and collectively on Beacon Hill.

The MV Chamber Government Affairs series, bringing business and government together, proactively began this year with the Mayor's and Managers as well as with our two members of Congress. Our State Representative program will be announced soon.

Happy Birthday also to Senator Finegold, who was presented with a cake at the program!

"Merrimack Place" Groundbreaking!

Congratulations to Bethany Community Services who recently held the Groundbreaking Ceremony of their new Merrimack Place project located on Water Street in Haverhill!

MVCC In The Community

The MVCC joined in to held deliver boxes of STEM books to Haverhill Public Schools generously donated by General Dynamics to United Way of Massachusetts Bay and Merrimack Valley as part of Read across America.

A huge thank you to Principal Betty and Joy Jannell at C.D. Hunking School for meeting with us Saturday morning! Huge thanks to the Merrimack Valley Chamber of Commerce for pulling the drop off together! These books will help ensure that literacy in our public schools is equitable and available to all students!
