The Meskwaki Annual Powwow is the Only One of Its Kind in Iowa and is Held on the Only Indian Settlement in Iowa.
Beginning on Thursday, the Four Day Festival and Celebration Occurs the 2nd Full Weekend of August Each Year. With Grand Entry Beginning at 1:00pm and 7:00pm Daily, It's a Time of Laughter, Dancing, Singing, Remembering, and Reconnecting With Friends, Family and the Community Each Year.

1:00pm and 7:00pm - Children's Day
On Thursday, August 8th, We Celebrate Children's Day With Youth Head Dancers and Children's Specials Held During Grand Entry and Games/events Held for Children During the Afternoon Hosted by Meskwaki Youth Program and Others.
August 9, 2024
1:00pm and 7:00pm - Senior Citizen's Day
On Friday, August 9th, We Celebrate Our Elders With Senior Head Dancers During Grand Entries and Other Special Events/games Held During the Day Hosted by Meskwaki Senior Services and Others. Elders (55+) Get in for $3!
August 10, 2024
1:00pm and 7:00pm - Veteran's Day
On Saturday, August 10th, We Celebrate Veteran's Day With Veteran Head Dancers During Grand Entries and Other Specials Held During the Day. 5k Fun Run/walk Held in the Morning. Veterans Get in for $3!
August 11, 2024
1:00pm and 7:00pm - Special Event's Day
On Sunday, August 11th, We Celebrate Special Event's Day. 5k Run/walk Held in the Morning.
