RIGHT BACK AT IT INTO 2024: AFTER HOURS AT MARIN THEATRE COMPANY – JAN. 9, 5:30-7!

We're not waiting any time to get back to celebrating our members, this time on January 9th at Marin Theatre Company, 397 Miller Ave. (5:30-7pm). This is as thrilling as it gets, as MTC heads into 2024 with a blockbuster series of plays so far this season and plenty more on the way. It also serves as a chance to meet Managing Director Meredith Suttles newly hired artistic director Lance Gardner, whose insight and vision for growth as a Bay Area native looks to invest in the local arts community, forging invaluable relationships, and prioritizing local connections. 

MTC's first play of 2024 is “Bees and Honey” (Feb. 14-March 10) by Guadali?s Del Carmen, co-founder of the Latinx Playwrights Circle. The West Coast premiere follows a Dominican couple who seem to be on the up-and-up — he with his auto shop, she poised to make partner at her law firm — till a sick parent must suddenly move in. If your love requires prosperity, the show asks, is it still love? It'll be followed by “Torch Song” (May 9-June 2, 2024), Harvey Fierstein’s two-act condensation of his 1982 “Torch Song Trilogy.”

The After Hours will serve up a fantastic array of food and beverage providers that includes Barrel House Tavern, Good Earth Market, Alluvial Wines, Boo Koo, River of Light Massage, Mill Valley Swirl and Antonio Martini - DJ. MORE INFO.
