Mohave County Fair a Huge Success

Organized Teamwork & Warm Weather led to Achieved Goals

The 2023 Mohave County Fair had great success thanks to a well-organized plan, teamwork, and superb weather.

Public Works Director Steve Latoski says “the gate attendance of 21,668 bests our 2022 gate/paid attendance (15,599) by 39%.  He especially praises his

Mohave County Parks division staff, saying the employees did a terrific job “in the facility and grounds presentation, as well as, in their skill in organizing a robust vendor and entertainment presentation.”

The following revenue figures do not include any proceeds from the carnival itself or various vendors. The information below provides a summary of beer sales and gate attendance for paid attendance only, including adults, children , seniors, and veterans.

County officials expressed a warm “Thank You” to all who attended with the fair’s theme of “Raising the Steaks!.” Latoski adds that “we especially appreciate and acknowledge the Mohave County Sheriff's Office in making it a safe and successful event.”  The county fair organizers believe the combination of the sponsors, multiple organizations, performers, exhibitors, 4concessionaires, and vendors, collectively made it a fun-filled fair experience all enjoyed. County employees, volunteers, and support staff were a critical and successful alliance of team players who made all of the parts a vibrant whole.

Next year, the 2024 Mohave County Fair is scheduled for September 12 – 15, 2024.
