Tenth Year of The Largest Balloon Festival In The Region

A Labor Day weekend event full of larger than life hot air balloons, fair-style foods, live music, a dedicated Kids Fun Zone, and tethered balloon rides. Each night ends with a coordinated Balloon Glow where pilots light their balloons to the rhythm of the music on stage.

This is a non-profit event, and all proceeds go directly to Boys & Girls Club of Monroe County. This organization helps hundreds of kids each year, and their studies show that children involved in a club become more caring, productive, and responsible citizens. We fully support their mission and are grateful for the work they do for our community.

Join us for our annual balloon festival benefitting the Boys & Girls Club of Monroe County. This event is celebrating it's tenth anniversary this year, and we're going bigger than ever before to celebrate this milestone. More balloons, more vendors, and more fun!

An Unforgettable Evening

Our Balloon Festival features pilots from all over the country that travel just to be a part of our festival. These pilots bring years of experience and stories to share while providing tethered balloon rides that go 50 feet in the air.

Our event also features live music from well-known local artists, fair-style food and snacks, 20+ vendor and craft booths, an inflatable Kids Fun Zone, and a nighttime Balloon Glow to end the evening.

VIP guests enjoy premium parking spaces, access to the VIP tent with the best view of all the balloons, included dinner and drinks provided by LongHorn Steakhouse.

Affordable Family Fun

The Monroe Life Balloon Festival is fun for the whole family with live music, tethered balloon rides, food and craft vendors, and a Kids Zone with inflatables. Each night will end with a balloon glow, as our balloons light up in time to music, creating a beautiful display.

Entry is only $10 per person, and all the money raised is donated to a great cause—the Boys and Girls Club of Monroe County. Your kids will love seeing the colorful balloons including the specially shaped ones with unique designs. Kids four and under are free.

All Balloons Tether

Soar above the ground in a tethered ride in one of our colorful hot-air balloons for only $20 per person. You and your kids will love seeing the world from up high as the flame jet heats the air overhead. Experience humanity’s oldest form of flight! We also have a handicap-accessible balloon to accommodate all riders.

Live Music

Enjoy family-friendly live music for the full festival courtesy of talented artists. Watching the musicians is a great way for your kids to catch their breath after playing on the inflatables in the Kids Zone, and with plenty of seating, you’ll have a great view of the stage. This year’s artist is Dusty Leigh Huston, named ISSA Female Vocalist of The Year in 2022 with over 200,000 streams on Spotify.

Delicious Foods

Did you know you can fry Oreos? We sure did, and that’s just one example of the novelty carnival-style food that you can enjoy at the festival. Have full meals like sandwiches, hamburgers, or pulled pork barbeque then top it off with a tasty carnival treat like cotton candy or funnel cakes. This is the perfect way to stay fresh for a long day of fun for you and your family.

Craft & Vendor Booths

Shop for unique crafts from our dozens of vendors. Enjoy a juried selection of hand-made items that make great souvenirs, gifts, and decorations that you can’t find at ordinary stores. There’s something for everyone!

Kids Fun Zone

Watch your kids run, play, and have a great time in our Kids Zone, full of inflatables, bounce houses, games, and other kids activities. They’ll love it, and it’ll be all the more magical because of the massive, colorful hot-air balloons in the background and the live music filling the air.

Balloon Glow

The exciting culmination of the Monroe Life Balloon Festival will be the balloon glow starting at dusk on Saturday and Sunday. Watch the many colorful balloons light up in time to music in a brilliant display of sound and color. This beautiful show is like nothing you’ve ever seen, so don’t miss out!
