We’re welcoming friends, old and new, to discover new authors, celebrate favorite writers and share great times with others who love Southern literature.

3:00 pm: Presentation of the Harper Lee Award Tom Franklin, recipient
4:00 pm: Presentation of a Special Lifetime Achievment Award to Tom Kelly“Poet Laureate of the Turkey Woods”
4:30 – 5:15 pm: Book Signing in Courtroom

6:00 pm: An Elegant Southern Supper honoring Tom Franklin, Kim Cross and Tom Kelly. ($40, advance purchase required)Let's celebrate and toast our award winners!Enjoy a relaxed time with our visiting authors and other festivalgoers and sample an elegant spread of Southern foods, wine and music. This year's music will be Diamond Reo 75, a popular south Alabama band performing a unique mix of covers and original music. The Shop at 66 Event Center is located at 66 S. Mt. 12:15 – 1:45 pm: A Southern Lunch with Kelsey Barnard Clark at The Shop at 66Luncheon ($30, advance purchase required)following the presentation by chef and cookbook author Kelsey Barnard Clark, a 2024 James Beard Award semifinalist for Best Chef: South.
