From: The Dorothy and Charles Mosesian Center for the ArtsNEW EXHIBITION
Our new exhibition Shared Habitat Earth: ONE FUTURE opens to the public this Friday, January 17, with an opening reception next Thursday, January 23 from 5:30-7:30 PM.
At a time when life on our beautiful planet is in imminent danger, the artists of Shared Habitat Earth have come together to raise their voices for the home we share with all living things. ONE FUTURE reminds us that all life on our unique planet is connected and that we are in this moment together. Come see this environmentally conscious art exhibition from a talented group of regional artists during our regular gallery hours or stop in during the River of Light Lantern Parade this Saturday.
CALL TO ARTISTS
The deadline is approaching for our next call to artists! Submit work inspired by the language of drawing by January 21! This exhibition ties into a town-wide celebration of the life and work of Armenian-American abstract expressionist Arshille Gorky, and is co-curated by well-known Boston artist and educator Bill Flynn.
CREATIVE CHATS!
You're invited to the first ever Creative Chats! January 17 at 8:30 AM. This free event is a way to gather creative people face-to-face to mingle, hear a featured conversation on the topic of creativity and the creative life, and then engage in the conversation themselves in small groups.
Matt Hanna of Little Local Conversations will lead a talk with Liz Helfer, professional sculptor and Public Arts and Culture Planner for the City of Watertown. They'll chat around a question that Liz has been spending time pondering on within the topic of creativity and the creative life.
Come to get inspired, to reflect, and connect.
With so much to see, learn, and experience at Mosesian Arts, we hope to see you soon! For all of the latest events, schedules, and tickets, visit mosesianarts.org.
