The North Carolina Democratic Party issued the following statement on Bob Rucho’s appointment to the State Board of Elections. This is the same Bob Rucho that believes “Obamacare has done more damage to the USA then the swords of the Nazis, Soviets & terrorists combined”  

“Appointing Bob Rucho to the State Board ofElections is letting the fox loose in the hen house. As the face and name of partisan gerrymandering in North Carolina, Rucho has done more than anyone to ensure Republicans can rig the game to cling to power. North Carolinians deserve to have faith in their Board of Elections to execute the laws fairly, it’s hard to see how they can when extremists like Bob Rucho are at the helm,” said Dawson McNamara-Bloom, a spokesperson for the North Carolina Democratic Party.
