On May 01, 2025, the North Carolina Republican Party (NCGOP) issued the following statement on the N.C. Court of Appeals' decision regarding elections provisions in S382.

"We applaud the N.C. Court of Appeals' order in this matter. Elections in North Carolina should be fair, free, honest, and transparent. The actions of the current board majority placed partisanship and politics over performance. Under Auditor Boliek, North Carolinians will have confidence our votes are counted with accuracy, consistency, and integrity."
