STONINGTON, CT - The New England Science & Sailing Foundation (NESS) announces the organization’s Annual Benefit to be held on Saturday, November 4, 2023, from 5:30-7:30 PM, at the Hounds in Stonington, CT. This year’s Benefit theme is “Into the Waves” and will be filled with NESS student stories and the impact donors have on their lives.

NESS, a nationally recognized, accredited nonprofit education organization, provides students of all ages with year-round experiential programming that includes marine science, sailing, and adventure water sports. NESS’s standards-based programs support STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) programs and curricula with a unique combination of on-the-water and in-the-classroom lessons intended to build confidence, teamwork, and leadership skills. In 2018, NESS became the sole school partner program accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges.

The Benefit will be a celebratory 2-hour cocktail party with delicious food, a fabulous online auction, a 50/50 cash raffle, live music, and more. Before the party concludes, there will be a special Paddle Raise for NESS’s Scholarship Fund to keep NESS inclusive and accessible.
