September 9, 2023

From: New Choral Society

This season marks the 30th Anniversary of the founding of the New Choral Society. It is a milestone that I am honored to be able to celebrate with the dedicated singers that make up this talented chorus. The thrill of making music with them never grows old.

We have a spectacular season planned for 2023-2024, featuring some of the greatest choral masterpieces. We will start the year with our 30th Anniversary Gala in September entitled “An Evening Among the Stars” where we will honor the Lindemann Young Artist Development Program of the Metropolitan Opera. We then kick off our performance season with the stirring Brahms Requiem in October. As always, we will usher in the holiday season with our annual performances of Händel’s Messiah, Part I in December.  An Evening of Chamber Music will showcase our talented orchestra in an all-instrumental program in February followed by our season finale of the stunning Mendelssohn Elijah in May. It will be an exciting season that you don’t want to miss!

As we head into this banner year, we are so thankful for your continued support, which has enabled the New Choral Society to provide high quality choral concerts right in the heart of Westchester for the past 30 years. I look forward to seeing you in our audience again soon.
