Find Your Voice: Summer 2023! 

Summer Reading 2023

Tweens and teens entering 6th-12th grade in the 2022-23 school year can win prizes! Register and log your reading on Beanstack to be entered in a drawing to win a prize each week of summer reading (now through 8/31). Write a book review on Beanstack; complete an adventure; or attend a library program (and fill in the relevant adventure on the site). Prizes will include experiences such as a kayak outing and cool stuff to enjoy like gift certificates to bookstores.

Junior High by Tegan and Sara Quin, illustrated by Tillie Walden - Indie-pop duo Tegan and Sara share their middle school experiences of growing apart as they make new friends and take separate paths to understanding their queerness. 

Girl Haven by Lilah Sturges, illustrated by Meaghan Carter - Ash's mom left three years ago, leaving her child and her husband with a shed of mystical curiosities related to the all-girl fantasy world Ash created as a child -- Koretris. When Ash's Pride Club stops by the shed, the club is transported to a new realm where Ash continues the search for their identity.
