Mario Kart Tournament

Wednesday, August 9 at 3pm

Spend an afternoon competing against your friends and other gamers in the Teen Area! This will be a bracketed Mario Kart tournament. If you have a Switch, please bring it. The grand prize will be a Nintendo Amiibo. Snacks will be provided.

Sit back, eat Japanese snacks, and enjoy a special screening of Dragon Dentist (2017). Runtime 90 minutes in two 45 minute episodes.

Minute To Win It: End of Summer Celebration!

Wednesday, August 16 at 6:30pm

Celebrate the end of summer with Minute To Win It games and ice cream! The idea is to complete challenges in under a minute using simple, everyday items.

Summer Reading 2023

Need to read this summer? Earn prizes while doing it! There's still time to register to be entered in a drawing to win prizes each week through August 31 by logging minutes, writing book reviews, completing adventures, or attending a library program. For those entering grades 6 to 12.

Remember, any reading counts: books, magazines, e-books, audiobooks and reading to your siblings!

Spotlight on: Pets of the Month

Behind the staff desk in the Teen Area you'll see some picture frames that display a few animal friends. Each month, we plan on featuring new pets! If you're interested in having your pet put on display, please fill out this form. You, the pet owner, will be responsible for decorating the frame. Once you submit your pet, we'll send you additional information to make your pet a star! Please note that we are not accepting snakes as featured pets.
