Spotlight on: Horror Stories
Tween
Nightmare Island by Shakirah Bourne
Serenity tries hard to be good like her younger brother Peace, but she can't help but love all things horror and creepy. Her parents blame her scary stories when her brother suddenly starts getting nightmares. To help him they bring the family to a mysterious island where he is treated by a Dr. Whisper. Serenity suspects something strange is going on, especially when she keeps seeing douens, faceless children, around. Even if no one believes her, Serenity is determined to save her brother from them.
City of Ghosts by Victoria Schwab
Cass has a unique gift to see ghosts but she would rather spend her summer vacation relaxing than ghost hunting. That's hard to do when her parents are going to film the world's most haunted places, starting in Edinburgh. Cass and ghostly best friend Jacob soon learn that not all ghosts are as friendly as he is.
The Sister Who ate Her Brothers by Jen Campbell
A collection of familiar fairy tales from around the world with a dark and modern edge. From soul eating mermen to haunted houses--this collection has a variety of tales to keep you up at night.

Evidence seems to point towards Dearie and Cole and they have to find the truth to clear their names and stop the murders.
Horrid by Katrina Leno
