Due to last week's snowy weather, the January Mill Race Lecture Series has been rescheduled for Wednesday February 1st. Mayor Brian Turnbull will present a discussion on the history of Northville's iconic neighborhoods. The lecture begins at 7:00 pm at the New School Church. This event is free to the public, however, due to limited seating, reservations are recommended. Donations are always appreciated.

Candidates should have leadership qualities, as well as experience in fundraising, relationship and organizational management, business planning and financial management. From Grief to Hope: This 8-week workshop combines the educational components of a seminar with the safety and support of a peer group. This workshop is offered twice annually, in-person and virtually, to adults grieving the death of a loved one. This workshop is sponsored in part by Ward Church and free to all participants due to the generosity of donations, grantors and sponsors.

Beginning the Grief Journey: This free seminar provides an understanding of the basics of the grief journey and is a great first step for those grieving the loss of a loved one. It covers a variety of topics to help participants understand their grief and gives practical tools to help navigate challenges they face after loss. In-person and virtual available.
