From: Maryland State Arts CouncilIntent to Apply forms are now available for the Maryland State Arts Council’s Grants for Organizations (GFO) program, which provides general operating support to nonprofit organizations, units of government, and colleges and universities that produce or present ongoing arts programming that is open to the public.
If your organization is a new applicant or did not receive FY 2025 GFO funding, a completed Intent to Apply form is required in order to be eligible to apply for FY 2026 GFO funding. If your organization is deemed eligible after review of the Intent to Apply form, it then must submit a full On-Year application by November 15 to be considered for FY 2026 GFO funding.
If your organization answers “Yes!” to all sections in the chart below, it is eligible to complete an Intent to Apply form.
Note that if your organization received FY 2025 GFO funding, it is not necessary to complete the Intent to Apply Form for FY 2026 GFO funding.
An information session, “How to Apply: Grants for Organizations - Intent to Apply,” will be held noon to 1 p.m. Monday, August 26. Join Program Directors Emily Sollenberger and Laura Weiss for an overview of the GFO program and the Intent to Apply process.
