Nevada State Democratic Party Executive Director Hilary Barrett released the following statement on legislative Democrats taking action to lower the cost of eggs:

“Under Joe Lombardo everything is more expensive and on Feb 12th, Democrats took serious action to give working families relief by passing legislation that will lower the cost of eggs. While food insecurity is on the rise, Lombardo has blocked any effort to lower costs for Nevadans – including vetoing legislation that would have guaranteed school meals to every student in Nevada. Democrats are urging Joe Lombardo to put families first, sign this legislation immediately and give Nevadans relief.”
