Stanislawa Kazimiera Wolowiec, age 73 of Milford, died peacefully on October 30, 2024 at Milford Hospital, surrounded by her family. Born in Niemstow, Poland on January 25, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Jan and Bronislawa Grudzien Konefal. Ms. Wolowiec was raised and educated in Poland and honed her culinary skills as a professional chef. She immigrated to the United States in 2008 and worked as the head chef at Europol Deli and Catering until the time of her retirement. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with family. She will be long remembered for her special love and devotion for her late daughter, Donata Wolowiec and for her beloved companion, Marek Sowa of Milford. Ms. Wolowiec is survived by sisters, Teresa (Michal) Gumkowski of Derby, Janina (Robert) Kratzer of Orange, Bogumila Barska of Derby and her husband Waldemar Barski of Poland, Elzbieta Mlotkowska (Ryszard Mlotkowski) of Poland; a brother, Leszek (Danuta) Konefal of Poland; a sister-in-law, Jolanta Konefal of Poland; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her cherished daughter Donata Wolowiec, she was predeceased by a brother, Tadeusz Konefal.

A Mass of Christian Burial, meeting directly at church, will be celebrated on Monday, November 11, 2024 at 11:00 AM in St. Michael Church, 75 Derby Avenue, Derby. Interment will be in Poland.
