From: Ocala Parks And Recreation DepartmentOcala, FL -- The City of Ocala Recreation and Parks Department will host the Spring Sunset Songs Series at the Downtown Square (1 SE Broadway St.) from 6 to 8 p.m. This free concert series, held on the second Wednesday of every month from January through May, features local and regional artists performing original music in genres ranging from country and blues to rock and electronic.

Wednesday, Jan. 8 | Bryce Mauldin (Country)
Bryce Mauldin, originally from Webster, Florida, is making waves in the Nashville country music scene. With a sound that appeals to fans of both classic and contemporary country, Mauldin has gained viral fame on social media and amassed more than 20 million streams as an independent artist. His single “City Limits” showcases a rocking modern country sound inspired by Jason Aldean, while “Seeing Somebody Else” offers soulful, heartbreak-driven storytelling. MADWOMAN, a six-piece indie-psych pop band from Gainesville, Florida, blends live instrumentation with electronic elements to create a genre-defying sound. Known for their high-energy performances, the band has appeared at festivals including Hulaween, Gasparilla Music Festival and Okeechobee. Wednesday, March 12 | Clover’s Revenge (Irish/Celtic Punk Rock)
Clover’s Revenge combines the acoustic traditions of pub music with the raw energy of Celtic punk rock. This trio delivers intricate harmonies, complex rhythms and original lyrics at breakneck speed. Influenced by bands such as the Dubliners, Pogues and Flogging Molly, Clover’s Revenge has toured Ireland, Scotland and England and performed throughout the southeastern U.S. Their music, featured on albums like “Gotta Get O’Raggednized” and “Truants and Absolution,” has garnered nearly 1 million Spotify streams. Wednesday, April 9 | Feverdreams (Roots/Rock)
Feverdreams was formed during the COVID-19 pandemic by Joshua Jacobs and Matthew Weisberg, who sought a new creative direction following the dissolution of their previous band. Their debut single, “Wildfire,” introduces a roots-driven rock sound inspired by heartland rock. The group, which has since expanded to include Taylor Michel on keys, Jesse Coleman on drums and Cam Bowland on bass, is working on their debut album, “Some Great Unknown,” recorded at Jacobs’ Kindred House Studio.
