Oklahoma City, OK - Last week, DNC Chair Ken Martin released his vision of a Democratic Party that ‘organizes early, organizes always, organizes everywhere, and can win anywhere.’ The Oklahoma Democratic Party not only commits to these principles, but carries them out with confidence.
We’re also working hard to support our county parties. Through the Oklahoma Democratic Party’s partnership with Contest Every Race, we’re making sure that county parties have the funds they need to operate. This partnership will deliver thousands of dollars to county parties across the state and provide them with the training necessary to empower their continued success.
Not only that, but the ASDC and DNC announced a partnership that will bring critical funds to red-state Democratic Parties, supporting our efforts to reach every voter and flip target State House and State Senate seats. The Oklahoma Democratic Party is working hard to bring meaningful change to our state, and our team has been building the necessary support to make it happen.
“We have expanded our statewide organizing every cycle and this partnership provides additional financial resources to fuel county parties to the next level,” said Alicia Andrews, Oklahoma Democratic Party Chair. “Expanding the map of Democratic representation is how we achieve better outcomes for the people of Oklahoma.”
Just this year alone, common-sense Democratic candidates have been fielded in urban, suburban, and rural areas running in special elections for State House, State Senate, County Commissioner, and offices even further down the ballot.
