Wherever You Need to Be
TOMS RIVER – Have you always wanted to join a book club, but find it hard to set aside the time and place? The Ocean County Library extends an invitation to enroll in the free One Book OCL Online Book Club and join in, anywhere you need to be.
Ocean County Library cardholders and non-cardholders are eligible to participate. Cardholders can download digital versions through the Library’s Freading®, Libby® and hoopla® services, or reserve print or audio versions.
One Book OCL, a collaboration with PBC Guru, is a private, moderated online community forum covering genres including fiction, nonfiction, lifelong learning, personal growth, and more. Members participate according to their schedules, day or night. Each title is given two to three months for discussion.
Club members are right now reading Kristina McManus’s historical novel Sold on a Monday, a remarkable tale of family love and desperation during America’s Great Depression.. The discussion continues through Friday, October 6.
