New Administrative Appointments

The Osceola County School Board approved the following administrative appointments on February 7, 2023:

Dr. Rhonda McMahon, Director of Student Services

Dr. Rhonda McMahon has held the following positions: Teacher for Grades 3-8 (1993-2006); Assistant Principal at Turner Elementary School (2006-2011); Principal at Turner Elementary School (2011-2014); Adjunct Instructor at Hillsborough Community College (2013-2017); Principal at Cannella Elementary School (2014-2017); Principal at Boggy Creek Elementary School (2017-2020); and Principal at Celebration K-8 School (2020-Present). She received her bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies, Social Sciences from Loyola University, a master's degree in in Special Education, Gifted and Talented from the University of South Florida, and her doctorate degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Central Florida. Dr. Rhonda McMahon also holds a certificate in Elementary Education, Education Leadership, and an Education Specialist degree in Curriculum and Instrction, Education Technology.

Mary Lou Shears, Assistant Principal at Discovery Intermediate School
Mary Lou Shears has held the following positions: Math Coach, Assistant Principal at General John Stricker Middle School, Instructional Mentor/Math Teacher at Kissimmee Middle School, and Middle School Math Resource Teacher. She received her bachelor's degree from Towson State University, a master's degree in Elementary Education from Towson University, and completed her Educational Leadership Program at Goucher College.
