Administrative Appointments 

The Osceola County School Board approved the following administrative appointments on August 1, 2023:

Timothy Burdette, Executive Director for Career and Technical Education

Timothy Burdette has held the following positions: Navy ROTC Teacher at Denn John Middle (2003-2010); Teacher at Liberty High (2008-2013); Career and Technical Education Program Specialist and ROTC Coordinator for the Osceola School District (2013-2018); Dean of Students at St. Cloud High and Evening Supervisor at Osceola Technical College (2018-2019); Assistant Principal at Adult Learning Center Osceola and Alternative Programs (2019-2020); and Coordinator of Career and Technical Education and Adult Education (2020-present). He received his bachelor's degree in General Studies with a Community Economic Development Concentration from Southern New Hampshire University and a master's degree in Education Leadership from American College of Education. He honorably served in the United States Navy from 1982-2002.

Dr. Tammy Dery, Coordinator of School Improvement

Dr. Tammy Dery has held the following positions: District Mentor, Trainer, and Teacher at Dowdell Middle and Benito Middle in Hillsborough County Public Schools (1990-2006); District Resource Teacher in Federal Programs for Hillsborough County Public Schools (2006-2009); Supervisor in Professional Development and Supervisor for Middle School Mathematics for Hillsborough County Public Schools (2009-2018); Coordinator of K-12 Mathematics for the Osceola School District (2018-2020); and Coordinator for K-12 Mathematics for Volusia County Public Schools (2020-present). She received her bachelor's degree in Science and Mathematics Education from the University of Central Florida, a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction in Interdisciplinary Studies from National Louis University, and a doctorate degree in Leadership for Learning and Organizational Development from National Louis University.
