The Osceola County School Board has begun the process of selecting the next Superintendent of Schools, as Dr. Pace has announced her retirement as of July 1, 2023. Students, parents, school district employees, and all Osceola County residents are encouraged to participate in the following community outreach efforts:

- Between February 8 through March 3, 2023, individuals can log on to the district's ThoughtExchange online platform to provide responses to the following questions: What are the district’s greatest challenges and opportunities, and what skills will the next Superintendent need to address them?

Participants will then have the ability to rate other people's anonymous thoughts with one to five stars, indicating the level of agreement with each statement. The link to access the ThoughtExchange question can be found at https://bit.ly/SuptSearchInput. Stakeholders have the option of viewing, responding to, and rating responses to the ThoughtExchange questions in a number of different languages.

- All stakeholders are invited to attend any of the following Superintendent Search Community Forums:

- NeoCity Academy - February 27 at 6:00 p.m. in the mixer space
- Poinciana High - February 28 at 7:00 p.m. in the Business Academy mixer space
- Celebration High - March 1 at 10:00 a.m. in the media center
- St. Cloud High - March 2 at 6:00 p.m. in the cafeteria

Participants in attendance will provide input on what the new Superintendent should continue as it is working well in the district, what will be his or her challenges in the Osceola School District, and what qualifications and qualities should the new Superintendent have for success in the position.
