This year marks the 103rd Annual Fireworks Show in Peabody, Kansas. Join us on Thursday, July 4th, 2024. There will be fun events throughout the day, a parade down Mainstreet at 5 pm, followed by music and vendors in the park. Then as the night sky darkens, we kick off a spectacular show featuring custom-made firework ground displays, breathtaking aerial fireworks, and everyone’s favorite part of the show, our grand finale the “Battle of New Orleans.”

Dance and Karaoke Party

Get your dancing shoes shined and your vocal chords warmed up. It’s sure to be a blast this year at the Dance and Karaoke Party on July 3rd at the Peabody American Legion. All proceeds from the dance go toward the Alumni Scholarship at Peabody Burns High School. This scholarship is given out yearly so a student may further their education – come out and help support a good cause.

Who: Everyone 21 and Older
Cost: $5 Cover – Goes towards Alumni Scholarship Fund

Join us at the Peabody City Park at 2nd and Locust in Peabody, Kansas as we celebrate our nation’s birthday in style with the 103rd Annual Fireworks Extravaganza!

Parade:

Line-up Starts at 4:00 (PBHS Parking Lot)
Parade Down Walnut Street 5:00pm (From 8th to 1st Street)
Registration 4pm at PBHS

Peace Family Farm Turtle Races:

Does your turtle have what it takes to be a champion? Come find out at the Peabody Park on the 4th of July!
Events and Watermelon 8:00 to 10:00 – Turtle Races start at 9:00. Come have fun and cheer on your favorite.

Horseshoe Tournament:

We hope you’ve been practicing. This is one of the Peabody 4th of July’s hottest competitions!
Registration starts at 7:00 on the 4th. $20 per team. The tournament begins at 8:15am.
