Dive Into Summer Creativity at Pelham Art Center

Art Classes, Camps & Workshops for All Ages Begin July 7

PELHAM, NY -- This summer, Pelham Art Center invites artists of all ages to ignite their creativity with an inspiring selection of daytime and evening classes, immersive camps, and hands-on workshops. Beginning July 7, the Center offers programs for everyone—from preschoolers to adults—featuring expanded Art & Movement Camps for ages 3–7, brand-new Digital Art Intensives for ages 8+, Saturday classes for youth, and creative opportunities for teens and adults in both traditional and digital media.

Whether you're seeking to explore foundational art techniques, dive into digital art, or infuse your creativity with movement and mindfulness, Pelham Art Center has something for every interest and skill level. Registration for Summer 2025 is open to the public on an ongoing basis.

Led by professional teaching artists, Pelham Art Center’s summer classes offer enriching, hands-on experiences that support creative growth at any age. Young artists can choose from exciting courses like Paper Wonders and Master Sculptors, while adults can explore offerings such as Sketchbooking: A Mindful Art Journey, Color Mixing Demystified, and Digital Painting.

This season’s adult workshops extend beyond traditional art-making to embrace wellness and creativity, with unique sessions such as yoga and music, stopmotion animation and collaging. Back by popular demand, Art & Movement Camps for ages 3–7 will now run weekly from July 7 through August 29 —offering even more opportunities for young artists to explore, create and play. These immersive camps combine a variety of art-making activities—including painting, drawing, sculpture, mixed media, and more—with movement-based activities such as imaginative play, storytelling, improvisational games, and music-making. Through hands-on exploration and self-expression, children will build their creativity, confidence, and social skills in a lively, supportive environment.

Running simultaneously, the all-new Digital Art Intensives introduce students ages 8+ to the exciting world of digital creation. With expert guidance, young artists will learn how to express themselves through digital tools and techniques, gaining valuable skills in a fun and engaging setting. Beyond digital projects, students will enjoy a supervised lunch hour filled with creative activities, including free draw, gallery tours, and games in the courtyard.

Pelham Art Center is committed to making the arts accessible to all. Thanks to generous funding from the Town of Pelham, ArtsWestchester/Westchester Board of Legislators, New York State Council on the Arts, Uskali Scholarship Fund, Annual Fund, and Special Event donors, need-based full and partial scholarships are available for students of all ages. High school students seeking to advance their skills and build a strong college portfolio are encouraged to apply for the David Uskali Scholarship, designed to support artistic talent and development.
