Pelham, NY - Registration for Pelham Art Center’s Summer 2024 classes, camps, and workshops will open to the general public on Tuesday, May 28. Members of PAC will have access to early registration beginning on Monday, May 20. This includes access to all Summer semester classes, plus week-long camps for students ages 3+, and a series of workshops for teens and adults.
Pelham Art Center classes are immersive creative experiences led by a diverse roster of professional teaching artists. Each class introduces an artistic medium in depth through guided projects suited to artists of all skill levels.
Week-long camp and class offerings invite younger students to learn the basics of sculpting for 3D printing, create their own jewelry, go on an Archaeology Dig, try a hand at handbuilding, and more. Both full and half-day camp options are available (as is a “Supervised Lunch” option to extend your child’s day at PAC).
Pelham Art Center offers need-based, full and partial scholarships for all students, thanks to funding from the Town of Pelham, Westchester Arts Council/Westchester Board of Legislators, New York State Council on the Arts, Uskali Scholarship Fund, Annual Fund and Special Event donors. Scholarships are awarded based on available funds, the application can be found here.
The David Uskali Scholarship provides scholarships specifically for high school students to attend year-round classes and workshops with the goal of supporting skill development, talent, and passion for art, and to help these young artists create work for college portfolios. This scholarship is open to all high-school students regardless of need. Additional information and an application form can be accessed here.
Complete class details and registration (beginning May 28 for the general public, and May 20 for PAC members) can be found at pelhamartcenter.org/education.
