Marylanders held rallies across state, including near National Institute of Health HQ in Bethesda and Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services HQ in Baltimore
Rallies coincide with statewide weekend of action protesting Trump Administration, Republican cowardice
On Saturday, March 8th, hundreds of Marylanders rallied near the National Institute of Health headquarters in Bethesda and the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services in Baltimore to protest the Trump Administration’s disastrous cuts to critical programs and services Marylanders depend on.
Roughly 1,000 Marylanders rallied in Bethesda alongside Senator Chris Van Hollen, Congressman Jamie Raskin, Comptroller Brooke Lierman, and Council President Kate Stewart.

Roughly 200 Marylanders rallied in Baltimore alongside Senator Chris Van Hollen, Senate President Bill Ferguson, Maryland Democratic Party Chair Ken Ulman, and former Social Security Administrator Carolyn Colvin.

Both rallies were part of the near two dozen events across all 24 counties the Maryland Democratic Party hosted as part of its Weekend of Action. More than 500 Marylanders made their voices heard in Frederick.
