The Erie Playhouse is thrilled to bring back the tradition of Playhouse Week with events celebrating our community’s history, present and future – leading up to our much-anticipated 2026 Season Launch announcement event on Sunday, August 24.

This year’s celebration includes: 

Sunday, August 17 – Join us for Playhouse Happy Hour at Plymouth Tavern from 6-8 p.m.! Enjoy a drink or a bite with family and friends as we kick off Playhouse Week 2025! Free admission, cash bar and food service available. 

Monday, August 18 – Erie Playhouse Presents MISCAST 2025! A one-night-only musical spectacular featuring local performers, performing songs from roles in which they would not traditionally be cast! Part of Playhouse Week 2025, sponsored by Networking Technologies. Directed by Devon Yates. MISCAST 2025 will be hosted at Room 33 (Doors at 6 p.m./ Show at 7 p.m.), and tickets go on sale Tuesday, July 29!

Tuesday, August 19 – Local celebrity Ken Falkenhagen is BACK by popular demand for a second year of Playhouse Week Trivia! Start putting together your teams of four and prepare to test your skills for prizes from the Playhouse! Free event; register your team here. 

Wednesday, August 20 – For the second year, we’re bringing together Playhouse Icons for an evening of candid history, storytelling and fun hosted by Shawn and Almitra Clerkin. This year we welcome EP legends Bob Martin and Trisha Yates to the stage for our live, intimate conversation during this FREE Playhouse Week Event right here on our stage. Doors and concessions open at 5 p.m. with the panel beginning at 5:30 p.m. 

Thursday, August 21 – Break out your SeaWolves (or Howling Dead!) gear and join us and cheer on our back-to-back champions as they take on the Harrisburg Senators! Score our Playhouse Group rate when you scan the QR code or visit the SeaWolves online here and use promo code EPH25.

Saturday, August 23 – For the second year in a row, members of the Playhouse community are invited to attend this potluck-style event for all ages! This year we’ll gather at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church (1070 Dutch Road, Fairview) on Saturday, August 23 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. Guests are encouraged to bring food, drinks, and/or other items needed for the potluck.
