The Poipu Beach Foundation (PBF) and Kauai Community College (KCC) will host the 5th Annual Poipu Food & Wine Festival, from October. The three-day event will celebrate Kauai’s diverse culinary resources and talents, while supporting the Culinary Arts Program at KCC.

Farmer’s Market Cooking Class - 4:00 - 7:15pm - $135

Come for the food, stay for the music.
Discover the freshest island ingredients at the weekly Kauai Culinary Market hosted by the Shops at Kukui`ula in partnership with the Kauai County Farm Bureau 3:30 to 6:00pm in the traditional pau hana (after work) style. As local musicians serenade, shop the open-air market exploring locally grown fruits, vegetables and coffee, along with spices, jams and other culinary delights.

At 5:00pm, make your way to the Palm Court for a special culinary demonstration by the students of the Kauai Community College Culinary Arts Program. Students will utilize fresh, local ingredients and offer small plates for purchase.

Kauai Local Favorites Cooking Class - 11:00am - 2:00pm - $125

An exquisite epicurean event highlighting the students of the Kauai Community College Culinary Arts Program, and held on the KCC Campus, features some of Hawaii’s finest chefs and perfectly paired wine, live music and a silent auction.

A portion of the proceeds from the Gala help with the continued development of KCC’s Culinary Arts Program by providing financial assistance for students in need. The Program trains a number of students each year and many of the graduates go on to find jobs in the local culinary industry.

The Poipu Pa`ina is hosted by the Poipu Beach Foundation and Kauai Community College and with support from the Hawaii Tourism Authority through the Community Enrichment Program.
