Introduce yourself, and tell us how old you are!
Paige Ridenour, 10
Why do you love theatre?
I actually got introduced to theater by my Popi (Grandpa). He took me to the Nutcracker every year! He often told me I'd be a great actor so he helped me get started, as well as many others along the way. As you may have figured out, the main reason I love theater is because of the people.
How long have I been at Poison Apple?
I have been in one show with Poison Apple and it was amazing, but now I'm starting Annie!
What has been your favorite show that you've performed in?
So far Aladdin, but I can't say for sure.
Favorite role?
Iago, but I'm excited to play Miss. Hannigan.
What’s something you’ve learned from participating in theatre?
Mostly good posture and what I need to work on.
Can you tell us about a moment onstage when something didn't go as planned? How did it turn out?
Hmm... that's a hard one. I think about the time when I said three words in the incorrect order. I felt embarrassed, then I reminded myself that the audience doesn't know the exact wording and they thought that I didn't make a mistake.
What's one piece of advice you'd like to give to someone stepping onstage for the first time?
Stage fright is mostly a beforehand feeling.
Is there anyone you'd like to give a shout-out to for supporting you on your acting journey?
Noelle Arms, Isaiah, Vanessa Dalpiaz, and many others.
Tell us the shows you have participated in with Poison Apple!
Aladdin and now Annie!
