Arizona Parks & Recreation Conference

The month of August was a busy one for the Parks and Recreation department! This past Sunday our team returned from Glendale, Arizona where we attended the Arizona Parks & Recreation Conference (APRA). At the three day conference, we engaged with other Parks and Recreation professionals, attended workshops, and connected with potential vendors for updating maintenance systems and special events. The knowledge gained from this experience is already being integrated as we look to elevate the quality of our programs, events, and parks.

In addition, we would like to commend Steve Adame (Volunteer Coordinator) and Casey Van Haren (Community Services Director) for hosting wonderful presentations at the conference. Great job team!

Starry Nights, Big Screens: Movies Under the Stars Returns!

Join us throughout the month of September for Movies Under the Stars! Bring a cozy blanket and chair, and enjoy our FREE outdoor movie series this summer!

The movies will begin at dark so head over the Prescott Valley Civic Center's Theater on the Green on Friday nights from 6:45 pm – 9:00 pm to enjoy a film and take in the night sky!
