Join Dr. Lucy Ferriss, co-founder and board president of the Afghan Female Student Outreach, as she presents the work of the non-profit, which is committed to helping return Afghan women to intellectual and professional life. Learn about how the work is conducted through many university professors, including at Fairfield University. Ferriss will be joined on stage by Dr. Sonya Huber, who has collaborated closely with AFSO, Maryam Gharmal ’26, and Grace Lannigan ’25.

Krakauer & Tagg’s Good Vibes Explosion

Thursday, February 20 | 7:30 p.m.

Renowned klezmer clarinetist David Krakauer and South African pianist and composer Kathleen Tagg present their new project, Good Vibes Explosion. By responding to negativity in the world, they created a musical celebration of our shared humanity. Their first album from the project, Mazel Tov Cocktail Party, offers an exuberant, high-octane mix of dance music, blending square dance, polka, hora, calypso, hornpipe, and hip-hop. It’s pure joy.

Parking at the Quick Center

We are so excited to welcome you back in 2025 for an exciting array of programs. We wanted to remind audiences that Fairfield University is a thriving college campus, which means that parking is always in high demand. Please follow all guidelines offered by our public safety officers and please remember that Quick Center VIP Parking is only available to Quick Members at the INSIDER level and above. Learn more about Quick Membership.

Parking is available in the lot directly in front of the Quick Center, the Dolan School of Business lots behind the Quick, and the Conference Center parking lot (5-minute walk to the Quick). We also encourage carpooling when you can. We appreciate your consideration.

Fairfield University and the Quick Center for the Arts will observe Presidents Day on Monday, February 17. The Box Office will be closed; however, tickets can be purchased online 24/7.
