OILDALE, CA - North of the River Recreation and Park District (NOR) is excited to announce that registration is now open for the 51st Annual North of the River Christmas Parade, set to take place on Saturday, December 14 at 10am on North Chester Avenue between China Grade Loop and E. Norris Road. This year’s theme, “Christmas Around the World,” invites businesses, organizations, bands, groups, and clubs to decorate in the spirit of the season and showcase cohesive entries that celebrate the diverse holiday traditions from across the globe.

Entries participating in the parade will compete in various categories, making this a fantastic opportunity to engage teams while also promoting an organization or business. From marching groups to elaborately decorated displays, your involvement is an excellent way to gain free exposure, build team spirit, and make lasting memories with the community.

Registration is available now at norfun.org. There is no entry fee to participate. Band and animal entries will be accepted through Friday, November 22, while business, organization, and group entries will be accepted through Friday, December 6.
