ORLANDO, FL - At its quarterly meeting in Orlando, the Republican Party of Florida (RPOF) State Committee unanimously approved a resolution endorsing a proposed constitutional amendment to provide a tax exemption for agricultural equipment. The measure, passed by the Florida Legislature, is slated to appear on the statewide ballot in 2026 and aims to offer financial relief to farmers and agricultural businesses, strengthening Florida’s economic foundation.
The two-day event brought together County Chairs, State Committeemen, State Committeewomen, and grassroots leaders from across the state to strategize for the 2026 elections. The meeting featured impactful training sessions to prepare for the upcoming campaign season, during which voters will select Florida’s next Governor and full Cabinet, among other key positions.
RPOF Chairman Evan Power emphasized the party’s commitment to maintaining momentum and vigilance heading into 2026:
“The Florida GOP takes nothing for granted,” Power said. “Energized by our record victories last November, our grassroots enthusiasm is at an all-time high. We are laser-focused on building the strongest voter engagement program this state has ever seen. Our party is united and ready to keep Florida red and deliver Republican victories up and down the ballot.”
