Amateur RFK Jr. has no business making such highly impactful decisions that will cost lives

Democratic Party of New Mexico Spokesperson Daniel Garcia released the following statement on the Trump Administration's decision to cut jobs and eliminate agencies at the Health and Human Services Department:

"Cartoonishly unqualified Trump mascot Robert Kennedy Jr. has no business making such highly impactful decisions that will ultimately cost lives. Slashing important jobs and eliminating key healthcare agencies will have disastrous consequences on our nation’s healthcare infrastructure.  

"Americans deserve a Health and Human Services Department that puts their health above the bogus opinions of an amateur like Robert Kennedy Jr. The consistent misinformation from Kennedy Jr. has contributed to a measles outbreak, a disease that was all but eradicated in the U.S., right here in the Southeast corner of New Mexico. We’ve already seen a Trump Administration botch one pandemic response during COVID-19, we can’t afford another."
