Round Rock Police responded to a shooting that occurred in an apartment complex around 8:50 PM Thursday night, January 19, 2023. When officers arrived at the Red Hills Villas, located at 1401 South AW Grimes Boulevard, they found a male with apparent gunshot wounds. This male died at the scene.

Police interviewed an involved male party at the scene, who cooperated with the investigation. Round Rock Police have partnered with the Williamson County District Attorney’s Office. No arrests have been made, and the investigation is on-going. This was an isolated incident between two males.

The identity of the deceased male is unconfirmed for now, but it is expected to be confirmed in the coming days.
