ALBUQUERQUE, NM - The Republican Party of New Mexico (RPNM) today issued a call for civility and unity as the state braces for mass anti-Trump protests planned for this weekend. This comes in the wake of a firebombing at the RPNM headquarters, and a series of harassing and threatening phone calls the Party has received. Despite these acts of intimidation, the RPNM remains steadfast in its stance, promoting peace and constructive dialogue among New Mexicans.

“The Republican Party of New Mexico stands resolute in calling for all New Mexicans to rise above the division and unite in civility while exercising their First Amendment rights,” said RPNM Chairwoman Amy Barela.

The party has made available voicemails received at its headquarters, which include threats and inflammatory language.
