And speaking of shameless pet devotion... this year’s lineup is packed with joy: Puppy Yoga, 4H Dog Show, Corgi and Wiener Dog Races, and more tail-wagging fun that celebrates our furry best friends.

Be sure to check out the Pets Rock: Live on Tour theme exhibit. In partnership with San Diego Humane Society, it’s full of heart—with pet adoptions, expert tips, and hands-on learning for animal lovers of all ages. Speaking of pet adoptions—head out to the Pet Pavilion in Family Funville to meet more adoptable pets. EVO Turf has created a space for interactive play for potential adoptees and demonstrations from animal trainers, working K-9 units and more.

But hold on to your leashes! As much as we adore them, pets aren’t allowed at the Fair. But for one-day-only, you and your pup can strut your stuff in the Pet-tacular Fun Run (& Walk) presented by Southpaw Vet. This special event takes place before the Fair opens on Saturday, July 5, and includes a fun run (or walk) through the Fairgrounds and a Pet-tacular celebration with contests, pup cups and more!

A Fair Tripper ticket includes Fair admission + round-trip rides on NCTD’s COASTER, SPRINTER, BREEZE, and/or MTS trolley, or bus—plus a shuttle to the Fairgrounds from the Solana Beach station.

All of this for the same price as Fair admission! Fair Tripper tickets are available in the PRONTO app or PRONTO vending machines for purchase during the Fair.
