Give the Earth a Hug!

Get outside this month and show our home some love.

Happy Earth Month AND happy Community Science month. You can explore our beautiful home and contribute to real scientific research. Join these community science projects this spring:

  • The City Nature Challenge is a 4-day, worldwide collaboration to get people observing the natural world through photography—and The Nat is coordinating San Diego’s annual participation! Happening April 26-29.
  • The Border BioBlitz is a community science effort to record as many species as possible along the U.S.-Mexico border. Join us the entire month of May to document the biological diversity of the borderlands through iNaturalist.

Paint and Sip Your Heart Out!

Join us on our rooftop with local artist, Erin Schroeder.

Mark your calendars for Friday, April 26 from 7–9:30 PM, and get ready to paint your way into the spring spirit!

Soak up the sunset views on our roof, sip some wine, and paint beach poppies with Erin Schroeder at our Paint and Sip workshop. Tickets are $50 for non-members and $45 for members.

Doors will open at 6:30 PM and each person will get one canvas to paint. Wine, beer, and snacks will be available for purchase.

Meet Ray Gilmore!
