The 51st Summer Solstice Celebration will take place June 20th - 22nd in beautiful Santa Barbara, California. 

Kicking off Friday night at 4pm the festivities will begin at Alameda Park for the Opening Ceremony Celebration. From 4-9pm enjoy music from local bands, food, beverages, dancing, vendors and the spirit of celebrating the longest day of the year. 

Parade

Saturday June 21st, at 12pm noon, the Parade will begin at the intersection of Santa Barbara and Ortega Street. The parade will travel up Santa Barbara Street ending at Summer Solstice Festival at Alameda park on Sola Street.?????

The Summer Solstice Celebration is excited to have you involved in this year's celebration! This year's parade is on Saturday, June 21, 2025. The parade begins at noon at Santa Barbara & E Ortega St in Santa Barbara, CA. All parade and workshop participants must register and pay associated fees. 

Child/Teen (7-17) Parade Only Registration: $15

Adult Parade Only Registration: $20

Child/Teen (12-17) Workshop & Parade Registration: $30

Adult Workshop & Parade Registration: $50

This year's theme is WILD WORLD. Participants are encouraged to align their costumes, floats, and ensembles with the theme however they may interpret it. No written words, symbols, or logos are allowed in the parade. The parade is people-powered: motorized vehicles (except wheelchairs) are not permitted.
