From: Santa Clarita Cowboy FestivalThe Santa Clarita Cowboy Festival is Los Angeles County’s premier western music festival. Surrounded by historic charm in the heart of Santa Clarita’s Arts and Entertainment District, the Cowboy Festival is held at William S. Hart Park and offers a unique festival atmosphere with over 15 performances of live music, western swing dancing, vintage vendors and western festivities.
From the days of the gold rush to Western movies, Santa Clarita’s historic sites hold a key place in the history of California. Unlock these moments at the Cowboy Festival for a fascinating glimpse into what life was like in the Old West, with event favorites including hatchet throwing, panning for gold and Dutch oven peach cobbler. Stroll through a western-town environment and browse vintage boots, hats, leather goods, jewelry and western fashion while dining on cowboy grub with all the fixin’s.
Over two days, enjoy a unique blend of cowboy, country, folk and bluegrass music across three stages and entertainment that includes western swing and country line dancing, trick ropers, living history, and activities for all ages!

Enjoy delicious BBQ, delightful libations, and an opportunity to mingle with the festival performers.
Tickets for this exclusive experience are available for $100 for the weekend. Admission includes a catered lunch (served from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm), VIP seating at the MANE Stage, and 2024 Cowboy Festival T-shirt. The Cantina will be open for guests with snacks and a drinks from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Guests will also enjoy front of the line Shuttle service to and from the Santa Clarita Cowboy Festival from the shuttle site.

SENSES Block Party – Saddle Up!!
Join the City of Santa Clarita’s SENSES Block Party for Saddle up a rootin’ tootin’ good time at our western-themed extravaganza that brings the spirit of the frontier to the heart of our Oldtown Newhall! Dust off your cowboy boots and grab your Stetson, because this is going to be a hoedown like no other.
Time: 7:00-10:00 p.m.

FRIDAY, APRIL 19
Californio Fiesta De Rancho Camulos
Dave Stamey, award winning Cowboy balladeer, “the Charlie Russell of Western Music,” will host your afternoon Vaquero experience at Don Ygnacio del Valle’s estancia at Rancho Camulos Museum and National Historic Landmark. One of the best surviving examples of an early Californio Rancho in its original setting, it is the site that inspired the 1884 novel “Ramona” and the filming location for DW Griffith’s 1910 Ramona starring Mary Pickford. Enjoy an authentic Vaquero buffet from local favorite, La Cocina Restaurant, an intimate Cowboy music performance and costumed docent-led tours as you step back in time in Heritage Valley, where the history, myth, and Romance of old California still linger.
All proceeds benefit the non-profit museums historical preservation. *Transportation is NOT provided for this trip, attendees must drive themselves to the location.

Newhall Family Theatre “Cowboy Family Night”
Enjoy a night of music, comedy, tall tales and cowboy storytelling at Cowboy Family Night, presented by Raising the Curtain Foundation. Hear some beautiful music from the award-winning Kristyn Harris, learn how to yodel like a pro, laugh at accordion shenanigans and comedy from festival legend Sourdough Slim and his sidekick Robert Armstrong, and join in a singalong of some classic Western songs. This evening will be full of cowboy fun for the whole family! You won’t want to miss this night of jangling spurs, cowboy comedy, beautiful ballads and tales from prairie campfires.
All proceeds benefit Raising the Curtain Foundation, which supports the Newhall Family Theatre for the Performing Arts.

Melody Ranch Motion Picture Tour
Get in touch with your inner cowboy as you take a walking tour of Melody Ranch Motion Picture Studio. For decades, Melody Ranch belonged to singing cowboy superstar Gene Autry, and has been the setting for such landmark films and television shows as Annie Oakley, Wichita, Gunsmoke, Deadwood, Django Unchained, Westworld, and Once Upon A Time in Hollywood. Every silver screen cowboy of note filmed here, including John Wayne, Gary Cooper, Roy Rogers, Hopalong Cassidy, Bob Steele, Tom Tyler, James Arness, and of course, Gene Autry
Come along as SCV residents and film historians E.J. and Kimi Stephens guide you through this historical movie set which has doubled for every rip roarin’ town from Dodge City to Deadwood. Now’s your chance to take advantage of this coveted tour experience. This tour involves substantial walking so please wear comfortable shoes.

Dancing into the Dusk
Dust off your boots and kick up your heels for a night of twirls, spins and good ol’ country fun at Dancing into the Dusk. Get in step with line dance instructions for all levels and stomp to the beat of a DJ spinning the best mixes. Refresh yourself with beverages for purchase from Lucky Luke Brewing and grab some grub at the food trucks. It’s a toe-tappin good time you won’t want to miss.
There is no onsite parking. Parking is available at the Cowboy Festival Shuttle Site and a free courtesy shuttle will drop off and pick up from venue. Last shuttle from venue to Shuttle Site leaves at 10:30 p.m.

Blue Cloud Movie Ranch Tour
Blue Cloud Movie Ranch is a 250-acre film lot, complete with a Baghdad set, Mission-style church, and U.S. Army base. Tucked into the hills of Santa Clarita, it has been the backdrop for American Sniper, JAG, True Blood, Iron Man, and dozens of other productions. Come along as SCV residents and film historians E.J. and Kim Stephens guide you to this fascinating film ranch that has never been open to the public!
Please note that due to the nature of this venue it is not ADA compliant. This tour has extensive walking and patrons are required to wear closed toe walking shoes.
