Top-seeded UNCW won the first four singles matches off the court to shut out No. 9 Hofstra, 4-0, in the first of four quarterfinal matches in the Colonial Athletic Association Men's Tennis Championship early Friday at William & Mary's McCormack-Nagelsen Tennis Center.
