When Trump tries to break the U.S. Government, Georgia Democrats fight to keep it working for Georgians
On Feb 19th, after months of aggressive questioning and pressure from Georgia U.S. Senator Jon Ossoff about why the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) has been failing Georgians, Postmaster General Louis DeJoy announced he would step down.
In 2020, all of the Trump-appointed USPS Board of Governors appointed Trump mega-donor DeJoy to break the U.S. postal system, which he did.
“Good riddance,” said DPG spokesman Dave Hoffman. “Georgians who depend on the USPS for timely delivery of prescriptions, paychecks, and more, are grateful for Senator Ossoff’s tireless advocacy.”
