Algoma Wisconsin’s Shanty Days “Celebration of the Lake” is a three-day, fun-filled, family festival that takes place on the shores of Lake Michigan.

Main Grounds Fees:
Entry to the Main Grounds requires a wristband for ages 12 and up.
Wristbands are available at any entry gate to the Main Grounds beginning at 4 PM, Friday, August 8, 2025
Purchased at the Gate: $10
Valid for the entire weekend.
Sunday Only: $5, available on Sunday only, at the gate.
Payments accepted: Cash only at the gate.
No band is required to attend the Arts & Crafts and Street Fair, volleyball tournament, parade, 5K, or fishing tournament.

Fishing Contest continues.

Packet Pick-up 5K Walk/Run & Kids Superhero Fun Run, Algoma Youth Club, 620 Lake St. You can also register for the event.

4 PM – Midnight: Main Grounds Open. Wristbands are required for 12 and older. $10 at the gate. Wristbands are good for the entire weekend.

4 – 7 PM: Wizard’s Kingdom Inflatables and Bungee Jump on the North Grounds (Kids Area) of the Main Grounds.

4 inflatables and the Bungee Jump
Ticket prices payable AT THE KIDS AREA in the Main Grounds: $2 per ticket or 11 tickets for $20.
3 tickets needed for Bungee Jump (3 minutes)
1 ticket needed for remaining inflatable activities.

Fishing Contest continues.

8 AM/9 AM - Shanty Days 5K Run/Walk and Kids Superhero Fun Run

Car Cruise registration and line-up. Olson Fabrication 1101 Perry St.

Battle on the Beach Volleyball Tournament, Crescent Beach

10 AM – 5 PM: Arts N’ Crafts Fair and Street Vendor Fair Fremont St. between 2nd & 6th Sts.  

11 AM – 3 PM: No wristband required to enter the Main Grounds. If you leave and come back after 3, a wristband is required.

11:30 AM - Car Cruise with Car Show, Parade route then Algoma Youth Club parking lot.  

12 PM: Shanty Days Parade - Register Here
