Over 100 artists will play during the free Local Artist Showcases, presented by PNC Bank.

St. Augustine, FL - Sing Out Loud Festival continues to grow, adding over 100 local and regional acts to the annual celebration of live music. In addition to announcing the local artist showcase schedule, details of the Music Business Panel at Flagler College are now available.

The Local Artist Showcases, presented by PNC Bank, are a staple of Sing Out Loud, offering music enthusiasts the chance to explore the area’s vibrant music scene. These free concerts feature singers, songwriters and musicians spanning genres from indie rock to bluegrass, hip hop to country, comedy to spoken word. Multiple venues across St. Augustine will host the showcases over three weekends in September. Fans of all ages are welcome.

“PNC Bank’s support of the Local Artist Showcases is an investment in our local artist community,” explains Cari Baker, chief programming officer of Sing Out Loud Festival. “We are proud to partner with an organization that celebrates and supports the creative spirit of St. Johns County.”

“At PNC, we believe the arts help us create stronger, more vibrant communities,” said Chris Kalin, PNC regional president for North Florida. “We’re thrilled to support this event and join the Sing Out Loud Festival in showcasing all our region has to offer.”

In addition to spotlighting local talent, Sing Out Loud provides artist development opportunities, including the Music Business Panel. Aspiring songwriters will have questions such as “What does it take to have your songs published? How can you improve your songwriting skills? How can you succeed in the music industry?” answered by industry experts. This is an opportunity to participate in an in-depth discussion on today’s industry trends, music licensing, songwriting technique and more. This year’s panelists are Luke Pierce (music executive and general manager, WORKS Entertainment), Wade Metzler (founder/CEO of Number13), Reece Tennery (head of Creative Sync & Licensing, Trailer and Promos at Pitch Hammer Music), and Brandon Young (senior director of Music Affairs at Activision Blizzard). The Music Business Panel will be held at The Markland House at Flagler College Wednesday, Sept. 25. This event is free and open to the public, but RSVP is required. RSVP HERE.
